It takes around 27 days for the epidermis to completely shed and be replaced by a new layer of skin. The process takes longer as we get older, but at every age, we can always have fresh, new, younger looking skin. Here are a few tips to sped up the process:

- stay active to increase blood flow
- healthy diet that includes plenty of fruits and vegetables like kale, Swiss chard, ginger, and mushroom
